What was the maximum in the region? I had 12.6c at home, however near Bristol between midday to 15.00 it felt extremely pleasant and Springlike with birdsong and butterflies.

T+240 in the MOD thread now. Yesterday it was t144 for wintry stuff, so maths circa t100 ish now.

It'll be xmas soon and people still holding off the charts.

I'm sort of engrossed in these daily pushbacks as it's the only thing that makes me laugh.

Tuffley in Gloucester reached 17.3 at 1300h today apparently. Courtesy of @TuffleyWeather

12.5 C maximum today in Southampton but it felt warmer - beautifully clear, too. No fog yet.

Beautiful day in North Bristol today.

More of the same would be welcome for a couple of weeks more.

True Winter to set in at Xmas until mid-Feb; yes, that would be just perfect.

That was fun stumbling home in very thick fog through our town that turns most of the street lights off at night

Morning all, looking like another good day after yesterday's 14C with the lack of mist here we could achieve a similar figure today. The last weekend of warmth, who knows but these sorts of daytime temps must eventually go into hiding until spring time, sometime soon surely?

11.8C the max yesterday and 10.8C today as fog lingered until well after 11am. Although not as mild as further east, it certainly felt rather springlike this afternoon.

This is all wrong.

Summers should be hot and winters should be cold.

I was ice skating in a t shirt yesterday.

Sort yourself out weather, no more grey skies and rank rain, let's have some winter sunshine and sharp frosts please.

Hi everyone,

It's been a while, I've been watching the mod thread like a hawk, but nothing too fruitful on the horizon yet - give it two weeks and we may be looking st something Christmassy? Here's hoping! At least it will finally feel seasonal this week, I was practically sunbathing (fully clothed!) yesterday. Madness.
