A lovely morning here, clear skies and very frosty. In fact I don't think we had one morning as frosty as this last Autumn/Winter so already an improvement from a cold perspective.

Such a refreshing start to the day with frost and sunny skies with high cloud. Low of -1.2C so first air frost of the season here.

Overnight low of 0.0C where we are "feeling like" -1.5C, with both ground and air frost.

Exactly the same here.

Interestingly, I had 0.0°C on both my Davis and Netatmo. Davis at 7:40am (4m high) Netatmo at 7:46am (1.5m high)

Currently 4.5°C and sunny. Better make the most of it, rest of the week is a bit pantz.

I was rather shocked how hard the frost had been this morning Gibby I can't tell what it dropped down to over night until later when I return home but i expect it was sub -2.

My met office forecast for tomorrow is dire with 4c max and rain all day it's going to feel very cold and wet with snow line around 700m so no luck on this one.   :sorry:

Was lovely working in some cold, crisp air last night. First air frost of the season here and the seal has finally been broken on my De-Icer.

Currently a crisp 6.2c and sunny here. Shame it's not going to last too long.

Interesting how variable the minima were last night, mine was -0.5c .

Stunning day with unbroken, sometimes hazy sunshine thanks to Cirrus which provided a lovely colourful sunrise and will do likewise for sunset soon.

-0.6°C min here, max has been 6.1°C today.  Likewise, Andy, lovely sunrise and sunset thanks to the cirrus.  Views from West Bay around lunchtime were much clearer than I thought they might be.

Lovely hard frost first thing which led into a fine sunny and seasonal chilly day, lots of useful weather today - even if ground conditions underfoot out in the fields were still very poor.

Freezing fog and sub 0c when I left home by the time I had got to Bath it was a few degrees warmer and no fog, I guess the change is already underway.
A shame really as I enjoy frosty mornings

1.9C with spots of rain after a low of -1.8C overnight. Looks like it's going to be one of those dark dreary days now, and just not quite cold enough for anything wintry.

Chilly 3.8c with Heavy rain just stopped. Looks like more coming up from the South. Much earlier than forecasts had suggested.

It wasn't exciting but the windscreen splat test as I left Warminster at 06.45 revealed some wet snowflakes as the precipitation arrived from the South, not surprising seeing as the temperature was still -0.6c after a minimum of -1.6c . I wouldn't be surprised if there had been some brief freezing rain as well.

Now just a grim, cold and wet day at 3.6c and rising slowly.
