It's here Ihatecoldweather, (whatever 'it' is lol) but at the moment, last night was wilder!  Nothing out of the ordinary so far! Raining now!

Had very little wind last night here, so it's worse now.

Just found this vid on face book, it's in the SW torquay, but I guess we have these wind coming over here later on.

Wow! that is a pretty awesome display of power from mother nature. Wonder if there are any properties at the other side of that road? can you imagine hearing what's left of the sea spray hitting your windows?

Heavy rain and windy now at 5.36 am! The rain is rattling against the window and I'm all snug sitting by the fire with Chloe on my lap (cat)! A few bins have gone for a wonder too!  It's mild though!

Wet and windy here too, looks like it is easing of a bit now. Temperatures unusually will fall as we go through the day.

Wow that red line on the radar just passed over me and it was like the heavens opened!

My local weather station has recorded a maximum gust of 64 mph since midnight. It's certainly dangerous out there and mr thunderbuddy is off to work on the roofs of Worthing!

Rain has stopped here, the wind had calmed down before the rain stopped, met office says top gust last night was 61mph at 6am. The local on line station I use is one of those that update every 15 mins but doesn't keep the max gust records. Gusts now are 22mph. temp 7.7

Keep getting showers every now and then since this morning, nothing heavy. Shame it hasn't dried out like the forecast said though. At least it's not all that windy.

Big fat ZERO of a day here. Days like today are why I want to live in Nelson, Canada.

Which.... umm is exactly the same as here, but colder - 4C today

Afternoon All,

Interesting drive from Southend to Gatwick at 5am this morning, the calmest place was on top of the QE2 bridge, the rest of journey, the A13, M25 and M23 were mayhem.  When my flight eventually took off I was slightly disappointed that we only had a couple of mild bumps as we went up through the cloud layers, infact the landing in Bordeaux was bumpier...  where it is dry and 14 degrees at the moment and no wind.

Have a good weekend one and all

FC

Ominous looking clouds overhead that are yet to drop anything.

Afternoon all

Did not quite get the strong wind and rain here (unless it was all during the night when I was asleep), light rain and windy (not really windy though) when I went to bed last night and not so windy and stopped raining when I got up this morning.

Can feel a noticable drop in the temp though as the day progressed, and where was the sunshine we were promised?

Another uneventful day in Essex, wet and windy this morning though nothing I'd class as remotely stormy, cleared by the afternoon to leave a dull cloudy day. Looks like more of the same for the coming week though hopefully a good clear day tomorrow at least..

0.9C  at the moment with frost on the cars! Cloud is rolling in now so the temperature may rise soon! Back to SW winds soon and milder air! These up and down temps are driving me nuts!

ARGH! could not sleep so got up early, and was greeted with a frosty scene when I looked out the window and currently -0.8oC in the garden shed right now.

Sunny but no frost here, that high cloud from yesterday stuck around most of the night which restricted frost. Off to Watford today, more specifically Harry Potter studios :)

Frost is finally starting to clear now, still plenty in the shade though, still very cold out, only just warmed up past freezing in the last hour or so.

Clear sky and buckets of sunshine, do not think the washing will dry before I have to bring it back in though, very still out on this calm day.
