Come on you reds! Cool and damp out! Crystal Palace 1 Liverpool 3 hopefully!

That would be 3 own goals then, as we're super dupere up front.

Oh, and in midfield, and at the back whilst we're on about it.

Just back from town and must say it is very mild out there, took a coat as it looked set to rain so was even warmer for me.

No rain either after all that.

Sorry to hear about your cat Stun12, hope she's soon on the mend.

Miserable, murky and very dull here; not ideal weather for my daughter who will be singing at the local 'Christmas lights turn on'. Hey ho, may struggle to juggle mince pie, mulled wine and brolly, brolly may be ditched  .

Have a good day all!

There are four houses here in my local area alone that have the crimbo lights/trees up already :shok:

Bit early for that yet IMHO.

Ooooh weather, yes err, still dull and not drying out even though here seems to have avoided any further rain so far today.

Thanks for that, scrat (bleedin' poet, me). She's home now but in a puppy crate until she recovers a bit more. Purring (and not through fear I think) but not eating yet. We've tried ham, cheese and raw beef so far. It'll be better once she does so that we can slip her the painkillers in her food. We don't really want to pick her up and force the tablet down, but may have to if she doesn't succumb to the tempting treats.

One mulled wine in each hand sounds favourite. Looks like it should stay mostly dry. Very mild here and got quite hot chopping logs. Monday looks chilly, according to the MetO app. Washout tomorrow.

poor puddy... Try white fish.. Coley from the frozen section of supermarkets , into to microwave.. It keeps the juice too from the fish so easy and good hydrator for the puddy cat. Great with getting tablets down them.

tuesday night look wet

141122_1200_84.png

and so does wednesday morning

141122_1200_90.png

not cold but may get misty again locally

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

wednesday

PPVM89.gif?31415

a variable windflow

rainfall

141122_1200_96.png

after the main rainfall clears it looks like a day of localised showers

141122_1200_102.png

temps

141122_1200_96.png

around 12-13 degrees

141122_1200_96.png

too much cloudcover to see higher temps there

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

wednesday night

141122_1200_108.png

barring the odd shower it looks mainly dry

risk of fog tonight could be quite widespread

not cold but chilly

141122_1200_114.png

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

thursday

PPVO89.gif?31415

a slightly breezier south west wind

rainfall

141122_1200_126.png

barring coastal drizzle early it looks mainly dry

potential for cloudy murk to plague the south coast for a while today

temps

141122_1200_120.png

10-11 coastal

11-13 elsewhere

temps again reduced due to cloudcover

141122_1200_120.png

now look at ukmo at 120

UW120-21.GIF?22-18

this is the closest match i can get to the fax chart

however call that fi for now

too much variation in the models to go further

ecm ensembles for london

temps

ensemble-tt6-london.gif

wind

ensemble-ff-london.gif

rain

ensemble-rrrcum-london.gif

spread there on the 29th but the mean is cooling down

if the atlantic was to barrell through the rain graphs would show more rain than is shown

however i would say do not expect a freeze up soon.

it will likely be a slow process but frosts will come more into the mix if high pressure holds on

anyway more tomorrow night when the late fax charts come out

regards

john

Is it just me or is the band of rain much further west than forecast at the moment?

I expect it will slide over at some point but all the TV graphics had the rain this side of the Isle of White, but it's mostly in the west country.

Morning Southeasterners  :)

The radar shows pretty much all of us under a band of steady persistent rain. This all pushing NNE from the Bay of Biscay and there is plenty more to come.

Metoffice warning

Yellow warning of rain
Rain will be persistent and locally heavy through much of Sunday. Falling on saturated ground, it is likely to cause flooding in places before clearing eastwards. The public should be aware of this hazard.

The warning has now been extended westwards. A waving cold front will lie across the area for much of the day, with more than 20 mm of rain expected in places. Given the wetter than average weather of late, these totals bring the risk of flooding in places.

One of those Sunday write-off days I'm afraid.
