Thanks Paul

So it's that time of year again

winter.jpg

Winter is just around the corner. So hopefully busy times ahead as the models (we hope) start to show some seasonal synoptics in the near future.

Usual rules apply and lets not deviate too far from the meteorological pathway. Thanks and enjoy :)

The weather here tonight is clear and fairly mild. Will do the FAX charts in a bit.

When is the first Snowmeggedon going to be reported in our favorite papers? Just hope we get a few flakes this year!Roll on those heady nights of mass street light watching and frenetic reporting.

So is that super dooper snow depth spreadsheet being revived after it died last winter? It was so typical that all that hard work by a few ended up not needed. So I am dreaming of a white Christmas, ops sorry it should have been white Winter.

Sounds like he is forecasting cold for the states again to me, with wind storms for us. As that is what happens when Atlantic air meets the vortex. We found that out last year. weather here is now cloudy wind is still just breezy.

Blustery ol' day already getting dark before 16:00...12.3C I really hate the rut we are in, there's hardly any fluctuations between night and day. Another warmer than average month looking likely.

Turned darker early again here as the cloud piles in and with it the wind has increased too, not had any rain yet, I have to nip into town too so hope it holds off for a while yet.

as above, too dark to do anything useful but too warm to be sitting indoors - but as a lot of my work is outdoors or in cold car dealerships, I dont mind. Really, I dont mind this dull damp moist weather.

really...

I am lucky as much of what I do is indoors, I tend to make the most of the longer days for walking and these shorter days for reading and artwork.

Managed to get to town and back in next to no time and the rain held off (still dry now), but that wind is quite blustery now.

Had some rain here about 5ish, is now dry, still just a breeze here wind wise, heard it will be quite strong tonight with the main rain.

After a bright start, it quickly turned cloudy. There has been a little light rain from time to time but nothing much.

Oh it's rare to see so many thunderstorm symbols :p

I was expecting rain this afternoon/evening here but nothing that I was aware of, have been holed up much of the evening I must admit, did look out and it was still dry a while ago. Also noticed a number of thunder symbols on the weather charts for my area too.

Morning all. It sounds quite windy out there but it isn't raining yet. It looks like the wet front is breaking up as it comes ENE, at least in this corner of the region. Still very mild. Meh weather.

Torrential rain here again. Had a very heavy pulse of rain from 3:30-5am. The next one has arrived and it's lashing it down. Strong SE wind too, mild though 11.1c. Have a great day folks!

Just damp here at the moment. I suspect that might not last long though.

In better news, it's Friday  :drunk:
