So playing around with my camera settings and am wondering What picture Quality do people shoot in ? E.g Raw and JPEG ?

keep it simple RAW everytime

I tried using raw then uploaded the photos to my PC n I couldn't view them

Hi mate. Yeah use windows 7 on laptop. Ok will do that after I get in from work. Thanx mate

I shoot in both Andy. Nikon has an option for that. Use the jpegs to have a quick look at etc and then if there's one I really like I use the raw file to lob in to photoshop to tinker with if I want. Tbh though I just use the jpegs 99% of the time as I can't be arsed!

When I been using it. Been doing it on JPEG + RAW but couldn't view anything via RAW. Been thinking of getting photoshop but haven't had the time lately due to being very busy working. Thank for that :-) Just over a week to go now. Can't wait

Always shoot in Raw Andy , down the line when you've worked your way around photoshop , you'll be happy to have RAW files to use. For printing photos too , having that extra amount of data in the file will produce a better quality print

Ok cool. Will do that. Will shoot in RAW + JPEG then I'm covered both ways. Thx for that :-)

Tour 2'er here! Leaving Heathrow at 15.20 tomorrow, and most likely won't be landing into Dallas until gone 1am (7am UK time...). Lonnnnng day.

Weather should be ok. Nothing extreme. 80% rain around lunchtime. Could get some storms at Dallas in the evening
