Me and Ashley Nelis went with the Days Inn as it's only 60 quid at the moment. Pretty much next door to the Holiday Inn so we won't have much hassle on the 12th.

Great thanks. I'll cancel the microtel inn then and hopefully see you at Days Inn. Are you flying from Heathrow on the 1545 BA219?

My original flights that I had in mind went up a good bit so I changed my plan Slightly.

I'll be In NJ visiting family from the 9th , then arriving in Denver 9am local time on the 12th.

Ok I'll be in the bar!

I prefer the direct route rather than having to do immigration en route, did that last time via JFK and nearly missed connection flight as the systems were down. Sure you'll be fine!

I'm 1 out of 2 for making connections there, with the good one only being because I sprinted to the gate. Have 2 hours 15 which should be okay if we have no delays.

We are likely to dump our bags at the hotel then go straight out for dinner. But the bar might tempt me!

Hi Tom, I shoot in Raw and JPEG with the JPEG set to Large and Fine. It just means that the file sizes will be larger so you will probably need a few cards to get you through the tour.  You can then tweak them in Lightroom / Photoshop as required.

Are you planning on taking anything to be able to download the images at the end of the day, if so, you may want to consider an external hard drive as well.

I have always Shot in Raw & Jpeg as well but was woundering as I am only planning on taking 2x 32gb cards so will prob only get around 1000pictures if I'm lucky on both ...

I wasn't planning on taking anything out their to download the pictures... May just have to by another memory card or shoot in Standard quality to get more on a card ?

Hi tom. Last year I just used one 32gb card n took over 1700 photos on it using RAW n JPEG in a large format. Still had loads of space. But I did take a spare memory card along but didn't use it. Be able to pick some up there n be a lot cheaper too

I've only got a 16GB card but I'll be taking my laptop to dump photos onto.

It will also depend on how trigger happy you get with the shutter button :D   And memory cards seem to be cheaper in the US, and no doubt there will be a Wally Mart run done a some point

If you want to get memory before you head out, try these

http://www.7dayshop.com/64gb-sd-cards?utm_campaign=memory-deep-links&utm_medium=category&utm_source=memory-deep-link

Under £16 for 64gb sdhc is silly money

That looks like a really good bargain there. Was looking in jessops today n they are selling the exact same cards for £79.
