Hi, Allseasons - I'll not publish the direct link but Google, brunnur vedur and that should take you to the indexes where I got it.

Still going well on the cams. Plenty of 4+ quakes today as well. Caldera still sinking.

Excellent team working on this at IMO.

The information recorded here will be used by us all on Earth, for century's., seriously.

Great way to learn for the current younger learners(49 count me in on the younger bit K  ...Since Laki in the 18th century no larger lava flow has happened on Earth above sea level.

Interesting times.....

High SO2 Pollution Levels in North Iceland By Eygló Svala Arnarsdóttir November 04, 2014 15:19

720x403xeruption_pollution_october_08_20

The pollution haze seen in South Iceland last month. Photo: Páll Kjartansson.

The level of sulfur dioxide (SO2) gas emitted by the eruption in Holuhraun reached 4,800 mµ/m3 in Húsavík, Northeast Iceland, at noon today. People in the area were alerted by mobile text message, mbl.is reports.

The pollution level has since dropped below 2,000 mµ/m3.

At SO2 levels above 2,000 mµ/m3, authorities advise everyone to stay inside, close the windows and turn up the heat the keep the gas out. Further information can be found in English on the website of the Environment Agency of Iceland (below the table).

The air quality was poor in Reykjavík this morning, approaching 2,000 mµ/m3, but has since improved.

Go to airquality.is to check the pollution levels in different locations in Iceland at any given time and to vedur.is for pollution forecasts. Tomorrow, mostly Northeast and East Iceland are expected to be affected by the eruption pollution.
