There is no such thing as a 'mini tornado'. That is just a term used by the lazy media when reporting events here in the UK.

F0 then on the Fujita-Pearson scale! :p

not like we get mini rain or mini sun or mini wind I suppose.

Is a mini hurricane just a gale then?

I think I got mini rain today, it's called drizzle

Pretty much a non event here, a grey and damp morning followed by a sunny afternoon. Congrats to all the lucky so and sos who got their fix.

Well a horrid start to the morning, it then brightened up and was rather lovely - now it is absolutely lashing down, October showing its face :good:

Couple of hefty showers during the afternoon, with a biting breeze. No thunder/lightning, though.

Pretty clear here now, breeze has dropped, and it felt pleasant during my run tonight. Unlucky captain haha. I've been caught out like that many a time. Just got to roll with it.

Certainly an interesting day in Essex, lots of flash flooding after persistent heavy rain all morning followed by torrential showers in the afternoon. Saw one manhole in the road cast to one side with water bubbling out over a foot in the air.

Looks like we will continue to see showers until the start/middle of next week. The winds will fall light from Friday onwards. Fog could also become an issue.
