Bugger with the fireworks again, why we wish it was just one night, the horse and pony are frightened out of their skin, pony has had to be sedated already last night, this extra night of fireworks is not helpful.

Agree Jax...some near neighbour set off a load of whizz-bangs tonight......this makes the third "back-garden event" over the last 7 days.
Luckily the piggies are indoors unperturbed......and it's only yours truly hiding under the duvet

Thankfully we survived the rain last night having been put on flood alert AGAIN at 8.30pm (but I only found that out this morning when I checked my mobile for messages!)

Glad you survived both :)

Like they are trying to recreated WW1 for real round here tonight!

Order a truck load of salt. You are going to need it

Lovely Sunday with bag loads of sunshine. Saw a load of birds of prey on the road today to the north west of London. Was quite a sight. Unfortunately my girlfriend is the one with the knowledge of that area though.

Beautiful day here, more like September than November.  Would really like a real cold spell though....cold, crisp and sunny.  Looking forward to the winter / snow banter  :cold:  (please)

WRT Captain SW's mention of birds of prey, most likely red kites, with perhaps the odd buzzard. After being as clear as a bell most of the day after the early fog cleared, it's now clouding up again, so no frost tonight.

Looked them up, I think we saw a couple of each. The Chilterns are lovely, even if it was from the view off the M40.

From a weather perspective I will try and get my butt into gear in posting more stuff on here in the near future. Just been very busy lately.

The little storm passing South of Ramsgate, more like over Deal is smashing out some great strikes and bangs ... It's a loud one.

Some Heavy Showers along the Coast also spreading further inland across Hampahire/ Sussex and Kent. Looks like Thunder mixed in too.

Just rain over me so far, hopefully it will stay that way. Had enough thunderstorms this year.

Dry and calm here, I guess the storms and rain are reserved for the extreme south tonight!

Looks that way. Just really don't want anything going flash bang while I'm trying to sleep.

Shame they can't be further north, night time thunderstorms are pretty spectacular , only happened two times this summer here!
