Absolutely beautiful morning here with the Sun rising through the mist into cloudless skies over a frost-covered landscape. Shame it's not going to last, but carpe diem and all that.

Nice sunny morning here, with steam rising from sun facing fences, beautiful. They've still not fixed the electric, they have the whole street on a generator, with two holes one on both pavements. Thank goodness it's a quiet road, we're all walking down the middle of it.

Just nipped out to the bin and that was a shock to the system, frost starting to fade in the sunshine and temps have lifted a tad close to 2oC now, bit of a light breeze too.

Beautiful early winter morning but no proper frost with a low of about 1.5C. Now 9C but turning quite dark. The radar has no rain showing anywhere in the region, so the clouds must just be for effect.

Warm!   How comes you have no electricity? Was there a fire or something that knocked out your supply? A cold breeze has picked up here!

Whilst not warm/mild out it is milder than earlier here, cloud and wind building now but still dry.

Woah we did get quite a frost, car coated in hard ice was not expecting that! Low of 0c here, and I'm in Greater London while most of the charts were showing +3c, they can be fickle!

Nice to see that one of the bonfire societies just carried on with the tradition, and exploded Salmond. Not because he's done anything wrong in particular, but because he is a public figure and should expect it. What is it that stops people wanting others to enjoy themselves? 

 

Sorry, should have been on a non-weather thread. Meh, now, 10.4C, overcast and waiting for the wet bits for a few days. Cold clear winter mornings will hopefully resume at some stage.

Gutted the damn council have changed the lamp posts/ street lights to energy saving rubbish' extremely dim and diluted I've known the bright orange glare for some 16 years+ Some great lamp post watching, on a positive it will certainly reduce light pollution is this occurring widely in London? Its really true how they say you'll never truly appreciate something until its no longer here, RIP my old friend there's more bloody light on the road not on the pavement, even my garden is pitch black now this was a bad move.

Well the wet and windy weather has still not truely arrived here, damp and breezy more like, not complaining mind.  Milder night too.
