Very lively morning here this norning, had some very heavy r rain move by early and its still raining heavy now!

Anyways yesterday was a cloudy start, then by the afternoon the sun came out and left a lovely day again and still quite warm!

Hight yesterday: 16.9'c

Low yesterday: 13.7'c

Current  Temperature now is 13.4'c which is also our current low.

Just as i type this, it really is coming down out there, its almost torrential, and quite windy aswell.

Got some very heavy rain here too now! If only it was 13.5c colder, then all this would be snow! :D

Very windy here, has been all morning. Looks like some rain will be arriving soon on radar.

Still teeming it down here, was hoping to get out, those plans may be scuppered by all this rain.

Rain's almost here - the intensity seems to have weakened somewhat though... it always does as it crosses London :(

PS: Hi all - been away from these forums for a good few months, thought it was about time to come back, especially as the weather's starting to get interesting again :) All that hot nice weather is so boring!

Dull and wet here still,  the rain is still quite heavy and not looking like it will clear up anytime soon, pretty much decided to make it a stop in day now as time is getting on.

The taps were turned on full this morning here! But after midday it dried up and we haven't had anymore rain since! Is November still looking mild and wet I wonder, has the arguing started in the MOD thread? :bomb::ninja:

Thunder here just now after a drizzly day with some heavy rain interludes. Still way too warm though...should be cooling down this week I beiieve, finally. Bonfire night is at Icklesham (Robin Hood). 10c and clear, at this stage of MetO forecasting.

Ha no mod thread seems a bit sensible, although someone had a cheeky ramp this morning!! I've no clue on the science, 'weighing up' and calculations that go on with meteorology, but have enjoyed reading Mr Murr's analysis of late, reason to hope for a late Nov early Dec episode in the freezer?...! Time will tell.

The pattern looks fairly stuck for a good part of November, with us in a generally southerly flow, albeit with only average temperatures. Rainfall should not be too bad here (probably around average). With high pressure strong to the east and with a deep trough sitting just west of the UK, then there are two feasible ways out of this. One which will bring delight for coldies, the other will bring the exact opposite.

I am reserving judgement for now, but there is definitely scope for cautious optimism.
