why sorry? I framed the cert to remind me of that happy day I got free again.

Does anyone on here like the Met offices website new layout? I can't be bothered waiting for it to load, then it takes ages to navigate to where I want it to go.

Liked it how it was.

Weather - well, see Jax above. Looked like brightening up, but more cloud set in. Mild though.

Why do they keep changing it? There was nothing wrong with how it was!

I'm back for the winter folks, like a migrating bird the last few weeks I have begun to feel a urge building in me that I could not ignore.

Then today I opened Google and typed - 'long range forecast winter 2014 UK' and realised I had best head back to NW

Hopefully we will get a storm or two on Friday, tomorrow (should) be better than todays cloudfest.

Argh! spent the evening trying to fix a very sick lappy, damn thing has got every virus known to human kind on it and a few more extra special ones, managed to remove to main ones but some pesky ones still "in there", AVG found 64 of them and even using msconfig to turn crap off did not help, may have to invoke antibytes on my next attempt on this sick puppy.

In weather news still dry with a firm case of dark now.

How on Earth did the owner manage to import that many? WTF has s/he been looking at?

I wouldn't like to say! :nonono: How about putting WOT on their browser, tells you when something is dodgy, or is it called WTF, can't remember! Breezy but very warm September night out there!

they just installed chrome they tell me, thing is riddled with crap, it hijacks a basic search and puts ads on pages that should never have ads on them.  thing is the ads are for SKY tv and the like.

It's not looking good for me is it? I've been avoiding coming on here as it does not help my anxiety, but as soon as I heard 'thundery shower's on TV I'm all.over netweather like some mad woman

Afternoon

After a dull and slightly damp start (even a few spots of rain, nothing much though) the day finally get brigher, the cloud moved and the sun started to shine, making for a very warm afternoon.

Now will it, won't it turn to storms later?  Radar not looking like much of that yet though.
