A murky start here, not too bad though with the sun trying to break through some high level cloud.

Wall to wall drudge here at the moment. Pleasant though. Just getting motivated to cut the grass etc before heading off to darkest Sarratt for football.

Ooo and a top tip.

Put some uneaten leaks out on the grass for the birds.

1) if you leave them in one place long enough, they kill the grass.

2) birds in this corner of hertfordshire don't like leaks. Fact.

At least the lawnmower bag will smell nice in a moment when I cut them up.

I really need to give the lawn (moss) a hair cut, looking messy again, if all goes well may well be the last cut of the year (getting the mower out involves taking half the contents out of the "half and very tiny" shed this place has got and entering spider central )

Most of the day was cloudy and gloomy, but finally the sun is out! Warm too 20c!

Cloudy here! This morning has been turnipey, what with the thick cloud and mist! Do you help them, or do their homework for them? Wish I had a dad that did my home work when I was at school!

It easier at times. He gets so much more than I used to its just daft.

He's supposed to do an hour a subject. Sometimes it takes two to three hours.

I actually enjoy doing it more than I did when I was at school.

Anyways, homework and gardening done. Also, my first can of magners is done as well. Off to the fridge i go.

Mostly cloudy here, until mid-afternoon when it became partially cloudy. Now it's just thin layer cloud. Bored now.

The sun is up and out this morning, a nice start to the day.

Enjoy the long sunny spells today, could be the only day we get this before the cloud starts to fill in the gaps.

After another bright but cool morning with some dense mist down by the river which quickly went as the day warmed up, that it has turned rather warm again, nice and sunny.
