After yesterday' s faux pas today seems more in keeping within the expected. With a change in the length of daylight hours s change may be in the offing. Mind you not moaning as this means not using any house heating, thus saving cash.

Currently 11.9c

In the shade 11.8c.    Inside 20.8c. Humidity 68%rh. If it goes below the 20.0c then the heating will come on. Just right for a silver surfer... Or a bald patch one..

It's been breezy here with temps around the 13c mark all day, so it's felt cool in that wind.

but most all these grey slate skies as made it very dull today and it's starting to get dark already

Light's on in the house and peeps driving with light's on at 3pm...... Winter is truly on its way :hi:

Today was much better than yesterday! Decent sunshine amounts pushed the temp up to 16.3C - I was in a t-shirt as a result. :)

Some pleasing warm sunshine this morning, before a general clouding over,  but such a difference that hour makes, the darkness seemed to come in so early.. With a peak of 15.5c I suppose it's still good for late October.

A very boring day again with stratocumulus covering the sky all day, occasional brightness and a high of 14.8C. The breeze was quite prevalent though so it didn't feel that mild.

A definitely usable day, not cold, not mild, not wet. Had a couple of decent walks and the kids had a good play out in a new park. Sun did threaten to come out briefly but alas the cloud won out.

Almost kind of feels like waking up to a day of Summer this morning. Definitely mild at the moment with a temperature around 13.3*C and hardly much in the way of wind. I wonder if 20*C could be reached today?

Impressively mild to start with a low of 11.5C but rising during the night so 14C this morning! If only it could be coupled with sunny skies, one could regard it as interesting but alas it's another grey start.

Who pinched my sunshine? :wallbash:   It's was lovely at 7 this morning and I've put washing out, but with the humidity still at 90%, it ain't getting very dry, in spite of teh breeze.

Just shows you never think sunshine is guaranteed this late in October, from this point onwards warm SW'ly airmasses bring alot of cloud into central and western parts, can't say I'm surprised to be honest, best chance for sunshine is with cooler airmasses.
