The rain is back. But considering it's not that heavy, it's not really putting up much of a fight. Only around 12.5*C, currently, although it does feel rather cool out their.

It does look as though their won't be much of the wet stuff around for the next few days or so, with the pressure generally staying high over Southern and South-Eastern UK.

Some light rain here which is very welcome as I have just put an Autumn feed on my lawn.

Weird to see rain falling after over 3 weeks, 5.1mm ending the rainless September :(

Nice to have had some rain overnight, left a couple of mils in the guage. Now back to bright blue skies, a few cumulus clouds and a cool breeze - certainly better than the haze and murk of last week.

Some showery rain overnight and again for an hour earlier this morning - was odd to get rained on while out working - but it's now a lovely pleasant day with sunny spells and a WNW breeze.

Hi fellow South-westerners. Sorry been absent or a long while. What with a very sick elderly Mum and a house move to deal with as well as trying to keep a business afloat been a bad year so far but will look forward to now returning to Netweather on a regular basis for the coming winter months. Why not start now with a look at current conditions here which are 17.5C in a NW breeze and broken cloud cover. A live view over my new village home is now available within my signature below which reverts to an infra red image overnight.

Hi Gibby, Don't I remember you from MetServ.

Yes I did belong there for a while. Can't remember what happened but I know I got banned from one of the minor forums for some inexplicable reason but I can't be sure whether it was Metserv or not.

Clear, and cool start to the day, the space station was shining like a beacon as it came over around 06:04 this morning.

Around here you have you pick of a range of temperatures today we have:

Isle of Portland (52 m)

12.0 °C

Swanage (10 m)

9.0 °C

Bournemouth (10 m)

2.0 °C

Shows what heat and influence the channel still has.

Don't think it was MetServ than banned you, I would remember as I was a mod.

A reasonable start to the day with some sunshine and a light wind from the West. Currently 12.1C. My thoughts for Somerset today can be seen here.

OK. My apologies. I wish I had time to post on all platforms as there is a lot of like minded weather interested people out there with a lot of knowledge but I think it's here and TWO that host the best forums

What a beautiful day it is. Sun always shines on my birthday, which is good because I'm in sulk mode, dirty 30's  :wallbash:

Not sure if it's anything, but I've never seen the clouds have this weird looking (albeit faint) line in them. (You can just about see it)

Good pics Dale, I've noticed similar here this morning. I think the cloud is a form of Asperatus and is quite common when weak Warm Fronts are around.
