Squeaked 17C here this afternoon, with a few beefy showers. cool in the wind, but lovely in the shelter.

Has been quite pleasant here since 2pm with lighter winds and lengthy spells of sunshine so 20C has again been brushed this afternoon. Quite a bit cooler tomorrow though methinks.

won't be a shocker in your area, your area just a few showers, probably sunny at times, may even stay dry

That came from the Met Office 'up date' at 18:57... My personal feelings are, the morning won't to clever but the afternoon will be alot better than you are expecting.

Solihull maybe..... But I'll be Weymouth bound come the morning "sunny at times and dry" the big outdoors here i come and that's one forecast that sounds good to me :good:

Squeezed 20°C here too and barely enough rain to wet the ground.  Pleasantly warm this afternoon out of the breeze.

The temperature is already down to 8.9c, it'll be a cool night for mid-August.

Autumn feels like it's coming for a visit this morning with mostly cloudy skies and also feeling rather chilly with the temperature around 10*C.

No shocker yet here on the northern edge of Snowdonia, a pleasant start with sunny spells if cool.

Had been the odd spot of light rain a bit earlier, otherwise it's been generally rain-free. At least you should be in a better position in Winter for a Cheshire Gap snow shower set-up. Hopefully we will actually get potent enough North-Westerly winds with cold enough 850mb temperatures to provide Wintery showers. :) Edited by DiagonalRedLine

Lovely clear start to the day so far but clouding over quite quickly from the northwest. Perhaps tomorrow will be the day for more prolonged sunshine. Still cool at 15.5C.

It would only take a slight shift in wind direction to deflect that Cheshire Gap streamer away from Stafford.

Sometimes they can extend SE through the whole central Midlands though.

Distinctly cool here at Rhiwlas, cardigan on still feel cold.
