Central heating went on briefly for a week or so back in August:) - since then not needed in September and briefly on around the start of October and looks like it won't be on in the coming days!

Surely but surely we have to have a cold air mass over the country sooner or later don't we?

Not cold enough here.

Can echo that, though my girlfriend complains from time to time at night.

Looks like it will be well into November before the heating will come on.

I have the heating on a bit just take take the chill out of the rooms but the thermo is only at 15c still so the longer the mild weather stays the longer we can keep on saving

Nope. The weather is so mild outside I even didn't even put the thick blanket on my bed let alone put heating on.

I'm sticking with the thin blanket this Winter as long it didn't go too cold.

What chill? The heat emanating from the back of my telly is enough to push things into 'uncomfotable' territory.

Temps hovering around 7-9c day & night with a chilly breeze and endless low cloud at the moment so the heating system is on. It is flowing round the apartment although I'm not using the radiators themselves as the warm pipe running around all rooms is enough.

Just the one storage heater in the lounge on low to keep the chill off at night for the whole house.

Not had the heating on here yet, to warm still, even over night and in the morning it doesn't feel chilly in this house.

Yes, my heating is now on. But before y'all faint in shock, it's only on in one room, courtesy of a small one-bar electric fire, and it ain't for my benefit. I've got 10 gallons of ale and 8 gallons of wine on the go, and progress is now a little sluggish. Can't provide heat for them individually so they're all snuggled up together in one warm room - bless. As for me, it's still t-shirt weather, the back door is wide open and I'm simply melting.

Well at least the misery of the recent warmth has gone and it's now a little more comfortable, but heating on? Yeah, right. Long way to go before that becomes anything remotely like a necessity.

Company scarf and gloves should do the trick Nick lol...free use of kettle :)

Below zero here, think that's kinda twisted it!

Funnily enough I got a company hat! hahaha

But yes, the kettle is definitely in use this evening as well :p
