Still around 20c in the rooms so no need what so ever for the heating

The rooms here do seem to hold the warmth very well I must say

Well the last few days have been a long way below average but still no heating required.

Nope, Nothing foreign. Log burner was on for a few hours last night to keep the chill/damp off. As you say nothing new, Although it has been very cool the past 48hrs even at this altitude for July. No big deal..

No heating on yet of course although Mrs Always expect rain did hint last night about thinking of lighting the fire.

I still haven't turned the heating on since I came back to the UK which was April 2014..so that's 15 months and counting.

The house is still holding a temperature of 19-21c so no need for heating here. Although the windows are now shut of a night.

Heating was used for the first time this summer on Friday and Sunday with that awful weather we had outdoor temperatures got no higher than 12c and inside fell below 16.5 so heating went on for 1 hour both days.

First time ever in July, heating on tonight. I know I'm getting older, but with no appreciable sunshine for days to warm the bricks & the constant cold. the whole flat has just chilled to an incredible degree for what's allegedly high summer.

Jesus, what a waste of money, I don't always have heating on in January, no wonder the energy companies are laughing all the way to the bank.

I would have thought you didn't have any form of heating or a duvet above a tog1 with all the windows wide open and only close them slightly to stop the snow blowing in during a blizzard!

My mums mate is over here at the moment and she's just asked to put the heating on. The room was already 19c!

:wallbash: Alas the fireplace is now on!

I know! :( It's still 15.2c here, the whole room stinks thanks to not having the fireplace on all year, and now I'm gonna bake! I have to sleep in this room tonight.  :nonono:

Windows open all night and still 19c in here in the morning. Absolutely no need for heating on yet, or probably for the next 6 weeks.

We have our windows open, but i tend to feel the cold before my warm blooded family members, so i walk around with a thin cardie on.

But no we haven't got the heating on, but I just saw a lovely beef and potato stew i want to try.
