It's not the best of summer weather over the UK at the moment, so what are the chances of seeing 'shooting stars' this week.

I was snapping the moon last night and saw an absolute beauty shoot past the left side of it, I just missed it on camera unfortunately. :)

It was too cloudy here last night, unfortunately.

Slightly better chance tonight because the moon's waning, but the moon's risen now so you'll only catch the brightest meteors.  Was out in the garden a few minutes ago and saw a couple of fairly bright ones.

Was surprised it wasn't mentioned on the weather forecasts tonight, or that I seen anyway. I'm currently listening to a radio stream of the metorites because it's cloudy here. I'm hoping it clears later so I can see a few fireballs! :-D

Have seen a few bright ones tonight, glad sky stayed relatively clear
