Agree there TEITS..  Moderate Rain here, 13.5mm so far, With an F1 North 3.5mph average wind speed.

again, it's a case of your location in these scenarios....pop yourself in one of the line segments blasting through currently and I'm sure your post would be different :)

Got up to 116.4mm/hr at 10.15 this morning. Certainly impressive whilst it was occurring. I also like to see how well the NW radar verifies - and again very impressive (I am in the blob to the south of Burgess Hill)

Wind is dropping now down to a steady 25mph. Sun is shining, very pleasant down here on the South Coast.

Some torrential rain with T&L moving up through Gloucestershire now....was very lively as it passed through here so it is worth keeping an eye on as it travels N/NE.

Had some rain .. Although on both occasions It sent me to sleep so must have been heavy as it tends to do that to me.. That was this morning so a nice lie in. Wind has picked up but it is a warm wind and sun trying to get through. Feels quite pleasant. Drying now and dare I say it almost perfect for drying the washing. Think we may escape the next line and looks clear on the radar for a bit so I may take the risk. :-D

The winds are forecast to strengthen later today, but I think the highest gusts will be along the East coast, transferring up towards the E and N coasts of Scotland as the low trundles its way up.

Im still sure the Low is further south than forecast which imo gets rid of any thundery potential for the Midlands, just the M4 south  in general for most of it I think.

The Tewkesbury turners? Storms take a distinct right turn here before heading towards Warwick, Leamington, Coventry then E Mids, Lincoln area :)Anywhere north and west, moderate occ heavy rain. Could get windy too.

I think you are about right with that. NMM 6z seems to have shifted things south a bit too.
