If it follows the 700hpa or 500hpa winds then it will pretty much do that, but so far it has been heading slightly east of the winds at this level.

The belt of heavy rain over North Yorkshire is starting to produce some thunder.

Liking the look of the thundery potential for next week, as another plumey set up looks like it may be on the cards, with more heat aswell.

Now brilliant sunshine and a lot of blue sky to the west although I can see cumulus congestus towards N Wales.

Few developments Ludlow way ahead of this area? Can see it all becoming more organised as it heads further NNE..local stuff but in places absolute torrents, T&L and gusty winds.

Yep can confirm that here in south kyme we have a few rumbles and a bit of light however its gone as quick as it came

Anywhere near Coventry should get a good hit again I'd say, then up into Lincolnshire for this evening looks to be the best bet.

Had over a dozen rumbles of thunder in quick succession just to the south but now nothing,although it has gone very dark

with no doubt torrential rain incoming.

That is a very intense looking storm on radar. I am hoping it can hold its strength as it heads NE so i can try to intercept.
