Its disappointing, considering the potential today was great for mega storms BUT the day has not yet ended.

bbc just showed most of England dry from 2100 with showers or storms moving north in Scotland, time is running out, they might have got it wrong about storms in north west england but they will be right about that

Still here too. Pretty gutted that last night's beast passed by 10 miles to the west, even though the time of day meant I saw some faint flashes & low rumbles. Think I'd be a bit more gutted if it had hit & then seen what it turned into 30 miles north of here!

Anyhoo, current indications that I should be in a pretty good spot for tomorrow, let's see how it goes wrong this time! Just one half decent thunderstorm please oh Thor!

I am still getting the club ready, even if i'm the only one here.

C'mon let it be my turn, it's not fair!

You'll be lucky. We only got those storms last summer because EVERYONE in the SE got them - and were probably better too! You should know that the area to the NW of London seems to hate storms.

Now i'm off to Bournemouth tonight visiting. Better get a result..or else.

I see all the indicators are taking the thunderstorms away from the west end moving them towards....well I can't say it! Beginning to look like lots of rain and the odd rumble hereabouts.

Looking more promising tonight lines of turrets have appeared.

still thick cloud here, but I believe it's supposed to clear from the south.

As usual some action to my South, dies out when it reaches here then restarts nicely to my North. Best action to the East again.

2 distant flickers and a rumble of thunder that was miles away...good night!
