Blimey, there's pretty much a line of storm cells from London up to Lincoln.

NW London is dry and bright! Although clouds are building to the east!

Interesting that sea breeze front, which is triggering storms from London to Lincs, started off across the east coast of Suffolk, Essex and down to Kent and has moved west inland.

Had northwesterly breeze here most of the day now there's no wind at all, must be east of sea breeze front or convergence zone now ...

Chasing Crowland storm at the moment, had to 'core punch' a few times through what I can only describe as a monsoon. can't post pics at the mo, got to move as the rain is coming!

Hi Nick, do you think this will continue to move West?

Wow, what an event this has been! Almost 4000 posts racked up in this thread!

Been a great year for storms so far also! The channel no longer killing them off down south, and i might have to start a supercell count in my signature, on 2 already in Chesterfield!

Not much chance of anything here today but i can see some big towers to my NE and can see on the radar that other areas are seeing some more action!

Heres to more plumes like this in the future!  :D

It all seems to be moving very slowly, so I think if it does make it to NW London it's gonna take a while.

I wouldn't get too excited, it's not very active T&L wise, but alot of constant rain so it's cooling down nicely. Obviously my wish was granted!

Looking at the radar it looks like we could be at the sharp end of a string of storms leading from London into my area, it sounds like we are under a barrage big booming noises and our sky sat is constantly going off.

South Kyme sheild is breached!!

I think we might actually be looking at some localised flooding around here. The rain's pulsing from heavy to torrential and back again but it hasn't stopped for over an hour now. Very soggy end to Lovebox festival, heh.

Went to Essendon in Herts for late sunday lunch with the kids. Saw no rain whatsoever until we got back to Broxbourne. Dropped them off just as a hell of a storm got going. Driving back up through Hoddesdon it was the worst conditions I'd ever driven in. Have come ro Royston and it was practicaly raining all the way though i can see places that were obviously hit harder! A great storm!!! Hope everyone's ok
