Is it me? Or is it going more north that cell in EA?

That storm in EA may turn into a supercell before it reaches the sea at this rate.

Slowly building rumbles from the cell to my east, wondering if it will keep its intensity. Not seen any lighting as in garden stubbornly finishing some jobs but will go out to take pics if it becomes more interesting...

Really hope that drifts westwards towards my location. Not too far away.

It's just sort of backbuilding and hovering east of Ipswich... wonder if it will expand or disappear... huge amount of murk and haze, saw top of anvil sort of thing but any structure is hidden for the moment. Home grown, according to the radar.. and something I haven't seen here for a long long time, forming as it is now.

Quite a lot of activity now for those in the southeast/EA.

Been an incredible few days for these areas. Almost unprecedented? I mean three or four days running of non stop cb action! Hardly a weekly occurrence or even during the most thundery of episodes. Would've been half tempted to have gone for a weekend break there, hindsight and all that :)Next batch for a few others...Thursday next possibly?

Just a shame I've virtually seen none of it. It's always too far east as it is now, or too far to the west. Thursday night is still far the best for this area. Friday, while there was some lightning, it was very disappointing and too far in the distance.

Been really unlucky here.

I can see solid walls of white amongst the clouds to my NE and E - alas more Cu building here but nothing substantial. Very warm and humid particularly in the sun!!Looks like a classic sea breeze CZ in EA/Essex! Edited by Harry

Had about an hour now of very heavy rain and lightning, although it seems to be dieing down a bit.

Well after a promising start in the Northeast the cells have almost died out - next chance is as the Convergence Zone shifts east to try and initiate some convective stuff.  Great stuff around EA and the far SE of England at the minute!  Send some this way you lot...

Cloud coverage beginning to increase here in NW Kent with some more fulsome looking Cu developing too.

We are too far east for the convergence and too close to that rain coming out of france, meh

The sea breeze seems to be "winning" at the moment, killing the convection off for the time being.

This storm must be intensifying on the spot. Seems like its bearly moving. Hearing distant rumbles grey skies hanging.
