Something seems on the verge of happening here - sunshine gone, unstable cloud cover overhead.

Same here, sky looks very stormy. Also very humid now.

Same here, gone from Sunny and very humid about 15 minutes ago to the same sort of cloud cover. Humidity is still high

Its looking quite interesting here now. Dark clouds scudding along at a fair rate with the sun coming through in places at times. There's nothing on any radar yet tho'. Not given up yet.

Wow look at this video from the Coventry stormhttp://footytweets.com/coventry/news/55044

Just reminds me of this game I was at last season...

I sit about 20 rows back in the large stand on the right hand side - very rarely do you get wet; I was absolutely soaked after this.

It's getting closer guys, are there any storms rumbling around my area atm?

Hi, not sure - possibly something approaching Cardiff - take a look at the Netweather radar and select Lightning On, and see what there is :) maybe a spot of rain at least on the way?

Sorry for late reply - catching up on thread... oops

Trying to decide where to position to get the best view of the *potential* import, I think I might take a leaf out of Mr Sherman's book and head East towards southend.....

What the hell, Oxford cell was holding ground on a NE track as it approached MK, even looked like it was producing a large hail core with rainfall rates of 200mm/hr. It's suddenly taken a northward track missed MK, hit Towcester and appears to be dying out electrically. All I have is a strong gusty wind and overcast angry looking skies.  :wallbash:

Ha ha a tad wet. Another vote for how hot the Bedford river festival was!!

Now in Kempston at a barbie, amazed at how Far East the Swindon storm has come, virtually just turned right at Oxford !!
