Think yours is the one I can see way off to my East Darren.

Can hear faint thunder now but some great lightning.

Ah well that slid by to the West, thought I was in for a real treat for a while.

It's currently over me, all IC/CC strikes but I've seen some amazing anvil crawlers. This has come from very little activity in terms of number of strikes from about 1 per minute to well over 6/7 strikes per min now.

Yes the lightning is practically overhead but it's so elevated and crawling along the clouds the thunder is long drawn out rolls!

This is the first night storm for me in probably well over 5, maybe closer to 10 years?

You stole my storm!  :diablo:

Looking out now and there is another coming up but again sliding to my West. Looks like fun and games for you for a while.  :good:

Don't be surprised if you suddenly start getting lighting, this activity burst from nowhere and it seems to be morphing and evolving as it moves north. Thunder is less frequent now, but seems a lot louder?

Well, I'll be up for an hour or two more drinking beer and listening to David Allen Coe. Never know what may develop in or around these storm clusters/MCS

Not been bad here, decided to stay put and saw a fair few decent CG and Anvil crawlers along with many flashes.

Essex taking a real battering now, like the old days i suppose?!

Just hope this cloud that is blanketing the country will clear off before it inhibits and home grown storms later today!

Night folks

My storm is rumbling off to the N/NW producing some great lightning. That was a nice surprise. Looks like I have a good hour or so of pretty drab rain now.

Ok here it comes. Nice big flashes, seems more like an elevated electrical storm.
