Damn, looks like the cell heading for London has died. Sky still ominously dark though, so maybe the heat of the city will revive it! *fingers crossed*

See what u mean. The northerly tracking part is not showing any activity now. Looks like it's just a Kent clipper/smasher after all.

Hi thereI don't normally post but I'm begging for an answer. I have a son with down syndrome who gets extremely nervous with thunder and lightning. So I can prepare him could anyone please tell me if Stokenchurch (6 miles west of High Wycombe?) Is likely to get anything tonight.I appreciate any help in advance.Thank you

I'm no expert, but I'd say it's quite likely.

There is certainly a fairly high risk of you seeing something tonight - can't be more definite as storms are unpredictable beasts I'm afraid :)

The skies on Sky Sports 2 are unreal at the cricket

It shows the mothership if I'm not mistaken

Boooooo... Is this import the only thing that's likely to cause any interest tonight or will there be the ability for cells to go up on their own? Will it be easier once the sun goes down for a cell to form?

Gust front going through Canterbury?

The players have to come off here - its dangerous out there, without lightning hit yet.

All of the action to my east, nice to see the lightning and hear a few of the louder roars! A few spits of rain but that's it. East Sussex, Kent northwards are/will be having fun!

Don't know if that's it for my part of the world but after last night, it doesn't matter!
