Could see what was brewing from the moment the activity over the Cherbourg Peninsula started late afternoon. Even though I pointed out to igore the main cluster to the SW and look east for increasing strikes I am very surprised it tracked as far east as it did, I was fairly optimistic it would be a direct hit for Mid Dorset but hey ho

Wow to those underneath that though because that is impressive! :shok:

Wow... It almost looks as though there's a very bright sun shining down on the place even though it's night-time. Incredible pic!

The set ups the last couple of years have definitely returned to 90s esque style imo. Promising stuff it really is.

Soo what do we know? Seems the trough is organising itself into a nice defined line heading NE. I reckon 2hours it will hit the midlands and diagonally down to London. Interestingly activity has picked up somewhat since its hit land, but looking good ;) Shall have to sit back, wait and see :)

I am thinking this storm system could be hitting the Midlands in the next couple of hours.

By far the worst storm I have ever seen here. Incredible.

I see flashes every 5 to 10 seconds, wish it was abit closer!

Why?! Looks like if the storm hits the Midlands, it will be about 3-4am, and I will miss it - Either by falling asleep, or the storm going too far East if I'm awake !!! :nonono:
