I can still here constant rumbling.Lots of lightening still going on. Bright and sunny to the back of my house, pitch black to the front.Glastonbury are getting wet!!!!!!

ah yes, that would be the storm was still developing when it passed here, gave one rumble of thunder and then I spent 30 mins (which I'll never get back) watching it in the fond hope it would do something else...

South of the M4 looks to be the areas most at risk, but I'd say I have a good chance of staying dry tomorrow.

What do you think to me?

Very active storm off the coast of Great Yarmouth again which could give a decent night show if it holds strong.

No convection here all day until about 10 minutes ago when it erupted just west of me. It's filled the sky now with a milky, unstable looking grey colour. Also a layer of mist forming now too. Don't think it will materialise into anything though.

Sky getting heavier. All you can here is the trees gently rustling in the sporadic breeze.

Some decent flashes and rumbles here in the past 20 minutes or so. I would guess the main action is slightly to the south of me, closer to Leominster.

Decided rather late to intercept what i'm sure was a supercell that crossed the A14 at Stowmarket, i wanted to stay on the edge of it but after getting on a nice high spot it veered right and put me right in the core, lots of CG's and loud gunshot thunder, 5mm hail and torrential rain saw the car in 6 inches of water within 5 minutes.

A short video, of a lowering (possible wall cloud) of the storm that crossed Stowmarket at 1700, rotation was clearly seen which makes me sure this was a supercell.
