Not expecting much here, apart from a rather cloudy-ish sunny, normal summers' day. With a bit of a breeze as standard. Hope to eat my words. :whistling:

Storms to our North East but don't think they will make it very far in land and are already starting to vanish,my poor garden,although we would all be moaning if it was piddling down.

Think you garden will get a watering if the latest forecast is correct! Might have to wait until the weekend! The clouds have cleared here and the threat of showers seems to be over! 24c!

Afternoon all

 

Another warm day here and dry with some sunny spells, more cloud though than not, in fact some of those clouds looked quite dark and ominous a while ago, but nothing happened.

Spoke too soon, was just planning to vacuum the car out and it started to rain, not heavy as such but those big fat blobs of rain.

Very nice dark cloud over towards the front of the house, If it had been yesterday I might have been doing the thunderstorm dance, really nasty looking, but *SiGH* the worst is missing me AGAIN. Nothing for it :rofl: cos you gotta laugh really.

You need to buy a summer house in Lincolnshire, storm capital of England! :laugh: No 'thundery showers' today! Or have I spoken too soon, like yesterday!

Hefty showers today, one of which was a real cloudburst.  No lightning observed, but regular distant thunder.  Murky and drizzly now.

Still very dark and overcast here, liek we have skipped late afternoon and early evening and got to 21:00 already.

 

Bit more of a breeze now too.

About 10mins of moderate rain, no T&L and the temperature has dropped. Stopped now but still quite dark. Really thought we were missing it but radar makes me smack bang in the middle of a shower, instead of on the edge. yay. :yahoo:

Still wouldn't mind a bit of crash, bang wallop though.  :bomb:

Really dark to my NW and the wind has picked up!

 

Got that here too, I've had to put the lights on but alas, no rain even though the air feels damp.

Once that rain band swiftly went through it stayed warm and dry, the breeze dropped, so I was able to clean and vacuum the car, change the bed linen with the windows open and managed a walk round this part of town with a visit to the near by park, then back, washing on and now got a pile of spuds growing legs so having a mass mash cooking session for the freezer as I can keep the doors and windows open and enjoy the fine evening air.

No wind now but I do have rain at last! well, more like drizzle but it's something, and if it lasts long enough the garden will appreciate it.
