Had a shower pass through here, but not seemingly enough to wet the soil properly.

A bit rainy on and off, nothing really heavy. Thankful that it's not too hot, 2nd Bad cold in two months, feeling too yuck to run after storms today. :bad:

It was so nice this morning, breakfast outside on the table, then picked the last of the red summer raspberries in the sunshine, whilst little birds fed themselves on my bird table.........now it's tipping down, yuck!

Going absolute crazy here, hammering it down would be an understatement. Lovely Sunday, nice and cool, heavy rain in parts and no worries about anything going bang  :yahoo:

You're looking a bit green Dami, hope you feel better soon! No storms here, just cloudy, but dry!

Saw some rain on the drive back to Saffron Walden, quite heavy back here for a time. Now it's turned clear.

Got the day off tomorrow and will be giving the car a nice treat (a service).

BBC are mentioning that temperatures could hit 28C by Thursday in this part of the world. Looks like a really nice week weather wise.

Last few days have been exactly the same. Starts off in glorious sunshine after a clear night, by 11 am the clouds roll in and about noon we get a thunderstorm or heavy rain. Dull all afternoon before the skies clearing around 6 o'clock.

Poor dog (who hates thunderstorms) has been terrified — won't go out, so we have to give him his walk in the morning. I'm a bit irritated because I got this lovely Lutyens bench delivered on Friday. Haven't been able to assemble it as if it gets wet the dowels will swell and it will be difficult.

Was woken up by noises , thought it was more burglars! Turned out to be foxes jumping the fences, which is much better than people! They were fighting with a cat and a hedgehog was invovled too! They saw me and all ran for it, apart from the hedgehog! This is one noisy neighbourhood! Weatherwise, it is clear but surprisingly cool out there, 9.9c! Think the week ahead will be mostly dry! I'm going back to sleep before the concrete drilling machines next door start up in the morning! :lazy: :lazy: :lazy:

Very hot sun earlier, humid with dark clouds now. Radar interesting but will it amount to anything?

It didn't half rain yesterday afternoon. Not a single rumble though.

After a cool and misty start it has turned into a rather nice day, warm, dry and sunny, now why could it not do that over the weekend?

I am spoiled for choice. Should I do the washing and ironing, open the windows, clean the car, go to the library, watch a dvd, look out for burglars or wildlife in the garden or none of the above ?  :hi:

Raining heavy here at the moment, only 18.3c!

It has been a rather poor here today mainly cloudy with pesky litlle bits of showery light rain. Wimbledon has been a bit on and off too with heavier showers.. Have to say the Beeb especially the overly cheery Carol Kirkwood were far too optimistic this morning and once again the fine detail for this region has been inaccurate.

Been raining here for past 20 minutes, but strangely, it is heavier in the back garden than it is out the front of the house!   Back garden is soaked, while the road is practically dry.

Looks like it's going to rain, a narrow belt of convective rain is sweeping through London.

Hubs said it was warm out, don't think we had any rain today.

I have that heavy rain at the moment and yes it was supposed to be dry today!  I'm not going to comment on the standard of recent weather forecasts! :whistling:
