This cloud had lightning in it before it got here in far eastern London, now nothing. I hope another little storm cloud with content comes to visit.

Enjoying staring at the 'Supermoon' out my office window to the east this evening, it's huuuuge, thanks to the weather also for clearing skies.

Well in Benfleet the squall line split resulting in just a few light showers. Whilst Chelmsford northwards and Kent got nailed. Guess that is revenge for that sea breeze storm a few weeks back

This week look showery and quite cool at times. Improving by Friday and hopefully the weekend.

What a rubbish low pressure system down this way, Friday night was better

Did you enjoy the rain on Friday. We drove through the floods to visit our son and his family. The road was particularly bad by the allotments just off the roundabout leading into Godmanchester. Grandson who is 3 is attending his friends birthday party today. The hosts were hoping they could run wild in the garden, but by what you have just written they will be going manic indoors instead. :clapping:

Kind regards

Dave

Hi Claret,

Yes was a good squall today, you must be bringing exciting weather with you every time.

Remember it was snow on a prev visit LOL!

Here is a pic of todays beast.

The wind is finally doing what the forecasts predicted. Nothing OTT or scary, though.

The "Supermoon" is just beginning to peek round the corner of the block of flats to my east.

Do you actually read your posts before you make them? I'd be pretty sure you don't come across at all well to the big majority of people who don't know you. Sad, because you're probably an 'alright' guy...

Escaped the really bad weather here! From 2pm, it was sunny and we managed a family barbacue with no problems! Everyone is a bit worse for wear and on their way home! Nice full moon out and a little fresher than recently, 14.9c!

Also a showery one with heavy downpours and thunder possible.

A cooler day too

Yes you are right there. Either the weather or problems on the M11/A14 always seem to plague us!

The weather here in Chelmsford this morning feels cooler and fresher than other days, but it is sunny and not as windy as I was led to believe it would be according to Carol K on the Beeb forecast earlier. Perhaps it will pick up later if showers spread over.

Have a good day everyone.

Kind Regards

Dave

The strip of showers heading along the south coast has got some intense rainfall in it - just had about 5 minutes of stair-rods in between steadier rain. No electircal activity though.

Morning

A markedly fresher feeling day today. Bright sunshine when I left this morning at 6.30, but the cloud seems to be bubbling up now, so has the breeze.

Hopefully the rain will hold off today, I promised to take my children for a round of golf later this afternoon...

Just having a moderate shower now and it has turned a lot windier than it was earlier this morning. Until a little while ago although a bit breezy it was very pleasant in the sunshine where it was sheltered from the southwest.

Regards Dave

Ps very short lived brightening up again now and the sun will be shining again shortly.
