Yes. Patio doors and windows still open here. the wind seems to be picking up a bit - enough to move the curtains.

Slightly disappointed with that, the cape forecast were well founded hence the thunder and lightning, but the conditions just didn't align themselves up for a more substantial event. Still another storm to add to the tally chart. Well up on last year anyway

Looks like more showers will follow through later this afternoon and the centre of the low pushes north east.

I was also going to say that the wind is a bit more gusty now. My understanding is that as the rain clears the wind will strengthen in some areas this afternoon and into the evening. Is that right?

A tesco roof collapsed in Cambridge, because of rain, now a Morrisions!
