I've looked into it and I still haven't got a clue about Thursday, Friday, regarding thunder! Everyone is saying something different! :help::cc_confused::unknw: So I guess there is a possibility of something thundery at the end of the week Thunderbuddy! Just a possibility though! :)

Yes saw that too. It's really sad when English heritage goes up in smoke, and ruin a lot of livelihoods.

To keep on topic, another great day here, not as hot as previous days, but I will take it for the rest of summer....

Weather Underground currently has tomorrow's atmospheric pressure for here tomorrow as 918.6 hPA. Is that right? I thought hPA were roughly the same as millibars....

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.

Sunspot activity is very low; the only thing that's unusual about activity on the Sun is that there isn't anything much.

And WTF putting pictures of Eastbourne pier burning down, as if that's a result of extraordinary weather?

Looks like today will be another nice sunny day but chance of some showers & storms for those more North in our Region.

I think here we will stay dry though.

Friday & Saturday looking dull and a good chance of thunderstorms, especially Saturday afternoon.

Looks like a continuation of your fantastic summer down south. The forecast breakdown, repelled yet again. Enjoy it. Meanwhile, yet more rain again in these parts of the Alps !

Look3d at the cape and li charts for sat and there seems to be the potential (I think, based on what ive taught myself through google) so I guess there just needs to be a trigger?

Hopefully it will just be rain so you can enjoy the party! Are people talking thunder more than usual in the convective thread, if so, then something might be brewing for the weekend?

It usually does save the rain for stuff like that, sods law and all that!
