Probably not on many people's minds at the moment, but here is a first look at winter 2014/2015!  Five minutes thirty five seconds into the video and onwards, is about the forth coming winter! :) Forgot the link!:laugh:

Raining here, and a very welcome cool breeze. Will hopefully get a better nights sleep tonight. Last night was terrible.

Didn't someone post a forecast for next week saying something about another msc or mcs? (not sure what it's called) think it was posted a few days ago

Its MCS and stands for mesoscale convective system.

They hate rain, I used to live in a bad neighborhood with lots of fighting and abuse, when it rained everywhere was still ;)

Looks like the south east will be free of thunder for the rest of the week now! Enjoy it! Weekend looks a bit more uncertain though! 20.5c here still!

Todays netweather forecast says we could see some thundery showers friday/Saturday :(

From the met office! Headline:

Showers affecting northwestern parts. Drier and brighter elsewhere.

Today:

Most places will see another fine and dry day with bright or sunny spells. Still breezy for a time in parts of the north with scattered showers, some of these turning heavy.

Tonight:

Staying dry across many southern and eastern areas with evening sunshine and clear spells overnight. Partly cloudy with scattered showers continuing further north and west, although becoming less breezy.

Thursday:

Showers will continue across the north and west, turning heavy and perhaps thundery at times, especially Scotland. Drier in the southeast with warm sunny spells, but still with isolated showers.

Updated: 0216 on Wed 30 Jul 2014

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Turning increasingly unsettled through Friday and Saturday across all areas with sunny spells and showers or rain. Becoming drier in the south on Sunday, but cloudier with rain in north.

Updated: 0216 on Wed 30 Jul 2014

They may just be rain showers here, :unknw:  :unknw:  :unknw:  so no need to worry just yet thunderbuddy! :)
