My friend in Benfleet says that there is flooding and half an inch of rain has fallen in 15 minutes! :shok: ............Meanwhile back in NW London, the sun is shining and people are having barbecues! 28.2C

We had planned a barbeque. Looking a bit doubtful here in Thurrock!

Heavy rain, and thunder here. Just got caught in it over the park playing football.....

It seems to be developing as it moves off to the North. Very heavy rain for a time though

Anything coming this way?

Judging by the speed and trajectory of the storm, I estimate it should reach West London between 5:30-6:30 pm this evening.

What are the chances of this storm in Chelmsford making it to my location?. Looks to be moving VERY slow to me. Hopefully it doesn't fizzle out or move too far west.

Storms over Cambs are heading your way, thunder every min here.

Thundering to my east - that lot seems angry. London has not done to well over the weekend, if it came west it'll be good. The skies are threatening, I think something will come our way.

Torrential rain for the last 20 minutes here in Clapham. Seems to have bubbled up right overhead. Only a couple of rumbles of thunder
