Looks like things are brewing up nicely in the Thames estuary this afternoon.

Doubt it will be on the same scale of what we had here on Friday night though! That was some storm.

lightning strike literally ten feet away. It made me jump. This has been going for over an hour and it is still going. Epic storm.

My friend in Benfleet says that there is flooding and half an inch of rain has fallen in 15 minutes! ............Meanwhile back in NW London, the sun is shining and people are having barbecues! 28.2C

just took lil one out to try out her tennis and baseball sets, a few drops of rain, 10mins later 6 booms of thunder and counting, wow that grew quick!

Yes my friend was telling me how bad it was EE in Benfleet! He said there is a lot of flooding!

Humidity is still around 60-70 and things are darkening once again.
