Incredible storm (s) overhead currently.. But to the point that there was that loud blood curdling hair raising clap if thunder. Lightning all the time, that I can just lie in bed and watch and not seek! Some pink some blue... Hope though that noone's home suffers this time. Although I fear this is as fearce the other one in June over Berkshire..

I can see distant flashes over the clouds to the SW as it's clear here. Was about to go to bed but this one has legs.

In Ealing and the lightning is becoming much more frequent to the SW, with increasingly loud rumbles of thunder. The wind has also become much more gusty

I done a post not sure where it went my first storm rolling in lots of frequent lightning very loud deep rumbles not overhead as yet coming from the east or south not sure :)

Almost constant flashes and rumbles here in crawley, west sussex, seems to be passing just to east of town. excellent lightshow with flashing every few seconds. Lights flickering (am on laptop battery with iphone hotspot so not plugged in and routers and fibre unplugged

 

Best storm i seen in a couple if not more years
