Wow! Hope you like snow! So it is thunder storms that avoid you! Clear skies here, nice sunny evening!

Just storms it seems. Snows ok if it doesn't lay.

Hello all, Great weather the last few days down on the Coast, working in the Palm House today, it's really taken off in there, hard to breathe at points it's been so stifling - originally a hothouse, now an unheated Palm house, doesn't stop it, it's like a jungle, but, still a pleasure to work in all the same

Been out in the garden today, what a brilliant year for insects here is a quick run down of the ones ive seen in my garden alone in the last few weeks.

One of these ichneumon wasps (pure black though) was tapping my fence for larvae.Posted Image

We have loads of these Summer Chafer flying round the cherry tree:Posted Image

We have red and blue damselfly around our pond (one even landed on me!) stunning insects:Posted Image

I have also seen some common darters about too.

I have seen a wasp that looks a lot like this Cerceris, not sure if it was but it looked exactly like this:Posted Image

I have also seen a wood boring bee:Posted Image

Pretty decent! I might go hunting under some rocks tomorrow to see if I can find a few centipedes etc.

None of the pictures are mine btw I currently do not have a decent camera.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Nothing here today in South Essex, turned out to be lovely afternoon and evening

there was a very localised downpour that affected Hockley and Hawkwell as I drove through about 1.30 but Rayleigh was dry! Dinner outside tonight which is always good :-)

Diddly squat in Archway, here in my bit of w. London or in leafy Buckinghamshire earlier this evening. Possibly a good thing on the last one as I was conducting a bus full of 16-year-olds in posh/skimpy frocks and sharp suits to their school prom. But I would like a decent storm.

calmed down here how, and whilst not a cool evening it is a tad fresher, may get a good nights kip at this rate.

I'll be out in a middle of a field mid morning tomorrow so there will be a down pour where I am! That is for sure!

Not the best place to be in a thunderstorm! :nonono: Hope there aren't any, be careful!

Not expecting anything and between 11 and 3 it's not allowed. Little one wants to play on the bouncy castle and get her face painted hopefully.

Morning all

No rain here at present, some cloud (quite a bit to be honest) but the odd glimpse of the sun has been had, calm and feeling mild again.  No idea on the temp as the outdoor shed sensor has stopped transmitting again.

I see parts of Norfolk got flooded again yesterday, was only there myself last month, places like Hemsby are still recovering from the last lot of winter storms so this is the last thing they needed I would have thought.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-norfolk-28060597

Parts of Norfolk are experiencing flash flooding following heavy rain, including along a railway line between Norwich and the coast.

Greater Anglia services between Norwich and Great Yarmouth, and Lowestoft in Suffolk, have been suspended because the line is under water at Brundall.

Hemsby, Caister, Ormesby and Winterton are also flooded, with a lifeboat crew helping motorists stranded in Hemsby.

Several inches of water are affecting homes in East Winch, near King's Lynn.

No sun here, just plenty of rain. The netweather forecast for my postcode says it should be sunny till this evening.

Never mind, seed sowing in the shed today for me.

Disorganised grungy mess of downpours passing over here near Croydon, could just make out a low rumble of thunder from it. Bang goes my plans for going to the Crystal Palace Overground Festival for the moment.
