Given the current situation I suppose it was only a matter of time before this happened and I think Wigan will only be the first of several to enter administration over the coming weeks and months.

without the rich pickings of tv money and sugar daddy owners, football is just not sustainable at professional level and with the uncertain future on the back of coronavirus, the money streams are in danger of drying up.

football may look very different in the post covid world.

Leeds United are back in the Premier League after 16 years away as West Brom's defeat by Huddersfield seals promotion.

At last!!! It's been a long and more often than not painful 16 years, but finally done it!

    And now Champions!!!

Leeds United will return to the Premier League after a 16-year absence as champions of the Sky Bet Championship.

All without kicking a ball!!! It seems Leeds aren't the only team who can stumble when the pressure really comes on......... That brings Fulham back into the race for the second automatic promotion place - Wednesday could be an exciting end to the Championship season with West Brom, Brentford and Fulham all vying for that second spot.

Congrats to Leeds Utd... is it really 16 years!

Good day for the Hatters too; but a shame that Brentford lost: I love to see teams I've never seen in the top-flight make the PL.
