Big day for the Blades could secure promotion if they beat Ipswich today. As ever pressure for getting the result make throw a spanner in the works.

Christ, the last few weeks have been agonising. Congratulations to the Blades too. Chris Wilder’s achievement has been incredible.

You watch Leeds beat Villa by seven to make it go into the last game

Watching Leeds v Villa  both sides would struggle to hit  barn door from a one foot. Leeds the much better side.

Bamford gets a 10 for acting hope the EFL or whoever it is transfers the red card to him

I doubt it as he was booked as well. So they'll say they can't do anything. Red card needs removing for the Villa player as there was zero contact. At least the Leeds manager did the right thing I can't see many others doing the same.

Even betetr the player who scored for Leeds was offside as well.

i don't know why Stuart Attwell keeps getting big games, he alays was a bad referee and still doesn't seem to be learning.

As for Bielsa he definitely did the right thing.

Well on the injury it wasn't a foul and neither was it a head injury so play on was right. The problem comes when all but two players stop. Do you blow then and look at the injury or let play carry on. You blow to whistle as kids are taught and since the linesman had missed the offside the goal stood.

On the melee that followed he took linesman advice on the Bamford incident and was told it was elbow/arm to the face so no choice with the red.

So did he do anything wrong or was he let down by the other officials?

If Var was in use the goal wouldn't have stood and none of the nonsense would have followed.

The incident was right in front of him, and as usual completely lost control of the situation. So as usual he was in the wrong.

He has reputation for being too lenient, and then losing control of games.

He was also the ref that gave that ghost "goal" from a number of years back. Any other ref and I wouldn't have commented.

VAR have cancelled the goal for offside, but if he wasn't offside, would it have overturned the goal?

No it would have stood as it did in the game as there wasn't any rules broken.

The injury wasn't from a foul and it wasn't a head injury so unless he tells players to put it out it's play on.

So he didn't do anything wrong there at all.
