Yes I know - I was just thinking about where you might be today in respect of Saturdays risk being reachable.

Easily reachable, after chasing today will stay in Cheyenne again, then up early to pick nick up from denver and fast route along the 76 and 80 into Nebraska

You can go incredible distances "out west" on the interstates, as Paul knows, but top this, I drove from my house here in Vancouver BC to Las Vegas NV in one 20-hour "go" and logged 2140 km. Just stopped twice for brunch and supper. You can cruise at 80 mph on the I-15 through Utah. Did the return trip on secondary highways and some of those are so quiet you might go an hour without seeing another vehicle (in daytime too). Took me 26 hours over two days to do that return, the interstates speed you up quite a bit especially outside of congested urban areas like Seattle or Salt Lake City.

 

Looks at the moment fairly promising for 3-4 hours around northeast Wyoming.
