Met going on about thundery showers moving south tonight. Last nights NMM indicates potential over Scotland but zippo further south. Will need the lastest update though.

And then reinvigorate during the day tomorrow. But, they won't affect you and none of them will be thundery anyway.

Very little in the way of showery activity looks like the Thundery threat is about zero.

local radio this morning was saying about possible thunder in the isolated downpours in the late evening over the hills,  but cant see anything happening now,  I think we have used up our quota of storm days for a month or two now, possibly  even a year or two  lol

This high pressure to the west, is it conducive to aiding thunderstorms? Or could we do with it drifting east over Europe, would that e courage warm air over us from France/Spain? Or is there something else essential missing?

Certainly a risk of things kicking off later over parts of S Scotland & N England and especially Ireland today.

To be fair they did mention a convergence line down in the South West on the local weather a lunchtime.

Just hold off until after the school pick up please!

Hmm well there is no sea breeze here so convergence will probably sit right overhead.

I would have said SW England was at a low risk on that chart,  hence why I didn't specifically mention it! :)

Looks like mid Wales could be in for some action as well,  already some showers kicking off.

Yes, it looks like we are at low risk. Clouds are being capped at the moment.
