Can see flashes but they are disappearing amongst cloud - difficult to tell which cells they are coming from

Which direction are they in?

The temperature here in Worcester has just started to rise, at 10:30 it was 17.2c at 11:00 it was 17.7c and now it's 18.2c plus the humidity has risen from 67% at 10:30 to 73%.... odd!

Paris getting hammered again tonight!

And check out last 24hrs in Europe! Astonishing stuff!

This year especially in the UK is very different to last year regarding convective potential, hopefully this bodes well for the rest of the summer!

Imagine if a similar scale to those German storms had actually initiated somewhere near to Lands End...

Considering it's still relatively early in the season, this sure is one heck of a start for some - no doubt plenty more raw footage flooding in over time. Amazing stuff.

This would cover Much of England.... Just mind blowing.. Triple.... Sorry :cray:

That cell that's fired up NNW of Derby has a very York-like track to it, possibly just sliding west (bad for me as I'm on eastern side) Apart from 1 big flash at lunchtime and a couple of deep rumbles we've had nowt. And that's most un-York-like.

Played golf tonight and it went from hot and sunny, to breezy, to overcast, to still, to sticky and back to clear again. It's very very muggy out there and raining again. Feels very charged at the moment.

Loving these mad few days of UK and near-continent tracking though

So annoying that Lincs is now the new Norfolk - time was when I couldn't go through a week in summer without a storm....

Smashing link, no pun intended. Annoying World cup ad in the beginning though: anyone in need of a kraut garden gnome or lederhosen? If yes order now

Depressingly this our last proper storm risk now ending until end of June, unless there's some significant pattern shift :cray:

Some nice lightning from today's beast storm captured at the Pinkpop festival in Heerlen, The Netherlands...

"Onweer" means "Thunderstorm".
