right, I moved my livestream to Justin TV ~ I have better understanding how to work it, since I normally use their brother livestreaming "twitchhttp://www.justin.tv/solartornado ~ so enjoy, hope it runs smooth! :) and hope there is something decent to watch on it later!~ I will tweak it from time to time ~ for best results

I think I'm going to get missed by the next cell along, which was the large one I was waiting for. It appears to be another SC though...

Rain clearing northwards didn't contain any T&L, hopefully the suns heating can help later this afternoon as we keep hold of some CAPE and negative index into the evening, not too hopeful though this far west!

Had thunder this morning, but no visible lightning. Seems to be a messy batch of convection - somewhere is getting lucky on the Lincs/Notts border.

Satellite view from earlier on, NASA EOSDIS Worldview sat.

I've now got clear sky to the south of me. Think I'll stick my head outside in about 20 mins and see if I can see the top of the cell to my SE.

Getting very dark in Hull. I would have had a trip to the Humber bridge to watch these incoming storms if I didn't have to wait in for the phone. Looks like I may get clipped by that storm in the next hour. Once this first lot clears through i think there will be more into the evening.

I'm waiting for the 1215 pass of the MODIS satellite to be put on the site to see what the tops looked like, but they're massive from here.

3 l and 3 t along with further heavy rain 1355-1415 as what appeared to be two cells moved north over me, one slight east and slightly west of me, sun breaking through now, total rainfall since 2400 is now 15.0mm, so anyone within 2-5 miles of here may have 30% or more above that total I would think. (my very sheltered raingauge)

if you have Extra, play the last 40-60m

Smack underneath the highest CAPE area, that will do for me!

Back to today, Lincolnshire is looking to get a pasting this afternoon, lots of cells developed now!

This cell has just brewed up and passed to my east before firing into action around Birstall, Loughborough I think, now showing several strikes now gone past the City of Leicester... Anyone underneath?

Pics taken on my HTC one M7 phone..

Finally, the non convective cloud is clearing and the first sign of cumulus is visible.

A step in the right direction :)

on the radar put the 500mb wind flow on to give you an idea of what direction the storms are moving in, tops on 00z Watnall with 21+C and 14C or above Td go to about 30000ft.

Thos values being enough to break the inversion (CAP if you like accronyms) at around 16000ft

Was thinking off going out chasing but nothing seems to be developing near here where are likely going to be the best places to be in the next few hours?

The wind vectors certainly look favourable for imported stuff across the SE this evening. Would be nice to see the cap break over the NW France a bit more readily...everything currently firing is slightly too far west!

Impressive, active line of thunderstorms forming further north!
