The focus for lower upslope activity moves south into the TX Panhandle this evening.Very nice chase terrain and photogenic storms moving in from NM. Lovely.

I might start in Clovis, NM and see how things develop. EHIs high at 7+ and decent 68-70F dps as storms move ESE off higher terrain towards the I27.

Leaving Dumas in a mo, heading towards Clayton intially to hope the skies clear out for some convection over the mountains, HRRR Shows a repeat of yesterday so expecting a few severe storms and Supercells over the mountains near Capulin before more storms form ahead and slam the Panhandles later.

Hoping we can get some photogenic storms today after yesterdays lousy chase

And already noting the boundary is sinking fast so will be targeting further south over the Santo Cristo mountains, will be west of Amarillo

Boundary lies Childress/Plainview/Clovis at present but I don't think it will recede further with a kink in NM halting progress.Main focus for storms on or just south of this boundary.

Sat near the NM border having lunch al fresco. After a quick test drive we know the signal dies just a mile to west, which is where the storms are. Hopefully we'll pick it up a bit further into New Mexico

England friendly in Miami suspended due to lightning with the score 0 - 0 first half.

Meanwhile I like the look of the cell moving south of Santa Rosa just now - heading your way.

Sitting in Clovis pondering wether to play with the Caprock Magic or await some developments further along the boundary near the West Texas / New Mexico border

Tricky decision Paul. Go West and take a look at the lone cell now approaching Fort Sumner, or go East and see what triggers in the Caprock?

Ok - cell near Plainview has fired and looks impressive already. Time to shift east?

Some awesome pics and vids to share later. This has been called in as a weak tornado and we were there to see it!

I know I said the hail was the last one, but this gives an idea of the structure as it's 2am and I've not had time to play with it much - the biggest mothership stack of plates I've seen, I officially need a wider lens...

Some great footage Tom and I love that wide angle of the cell Ian.  The detail in that is amazing.
