It's good to see some are getting storms, this is much better then yesterday :good:

More developments are happening on the continent, starting to get its act together down there.

Looking at a cell from my window, its actually quite big, in the direction of Swindon and MK way. I am hoping it will keep its intensity to here as it has me on target.

Fairly active storm north of Lincoln, this area always seems to come of well in these showery setups, hopefully the same sort of thing tomorrow!

A small storm passed just to my north around 45 minutes ago but was close enough for me to see some flashes and hear some bangs.

Looks like its all kicking off over Lincoln area again.

Showers losing their intensities as theft cross the channel, it'll end up as light rain by the time they make it here.

Under a shower train at the moment, can't believe I've heard thunder - it's almost unheard of in these parts haha. More active as they head NE towards the Wash.

Evening.

Getting increasingly dark to the south of cleethorpes right now. Towers to the west also. Awaiting with bated breath..........feels close and humid.

Regards.

Annoyingly I can see the storm to the east of me. Seems to be getting larger as well.

This is so wierd. There are some pretty heavy showers with thunder and lightning over Cheshire at the moment, but once they're within 25-30 miles of Manchester, they begin to fizzle out. Every storm has been doing that lately. Is there just something in the air around here? .

Virtually no luck around this part of the region. The last fortnight or so has been a kick in the goolies for storm lovers around here. You see the Irish Sea getting storms but nothing around here. You see cells popping up over Merseyside but nothing here. Cells that are active heading towards this area die out and yet cells are popping up further west. For instance, another cell has popped up around Skelmersdale now with sferics. That storm yesterday morning was a real kick in the teeth. Heading this way, active and just completely discharged itself just as it got here.I'm sure our luck will change.
