Seems to be a lot of lightening in the Irish Sea, and around Rhyl maybe its picking up on that, got my doors and windows open so I don't miss anything, only on my first coffee will get with it in a bit

Yes. I think we're going to get battered in a few hours you know. Tons of sferics on the radio.

A busy looking radar to wake up to with fun and games in some locations. Hoping it all stays electrified as it moves northwards! Getting a bit of early daytime heating here as the suns managing to poke through lifting the temps to 18c already after a low overnight of 14.3c. Humidity currently 77%, expecting close to 90% + later, upper air currently 10-14c ahead of the front.

That storm is barely going to scrape here, it's falling just to the west. Grrrrrr.

Hope so, according to lightening detector Isle of Man has got some. The sky to my south looks interesting and seems to be coming our way

Heaviest rainfall expected here around 12-2pm according to the NMM-4km, some really intense downpours likely.

That is without a shadow of doubt the quickest development of a storm I've ever seen !

High based lightning and real deep booms! Loving it

Skies look fantastic, ominous undulatus and steady convective drops.

Alas, no thunder as yet and I really am disliking each NMM run!, which is very keen for here to miss out!

Is it finally ok now for me to go way back a few days ago and say I told you so :cray:

Awoken to the sound of thunder. Just looked at the radar and as mentioned the speed of development is incredible.

Big gap in the showers heading this way. So it looks like we will have a heavy sunshine with heavy solar flares instead.

Looking like a mostly dry sunny during the morning possible showers this afternoon from the second batch. If it survives.

Whether we will brew our own is another question though.

Fairly fresh here with temps well down on forecast overnight values. At least the sun is out providing the some heating.
