Some fast and rapid devlopment away from the west now. The system moving inland south of London is starting to fire up. A few little cells over Suffolk are developing too, I think the Midlands might have a very good day :) Let's just hope something passes here in the home counties on it's way pmsl.

Lovely little storm cell just gone through, lots of thunder and lightning. Didn't expect it so early.

Oh the showers in the channel look good!

lets hope for some reason they don't die out but instead turn into a huge MCS

Seems to be a backbuilding area of storms anyway.Sferic virtually over my area apparently? Didn't hear or see anything? Edited by Ben Sainsbury

Yes, we had some very large raindrops. The lightning was visible, although it was intracloud.

thunder finally stopped here but very active little storm that was didn't last long, I really hope something else gets going soon.

Had several flashes and rumbles with 2 cracking CG strikes nearby. Has moved off quickly now towards Gloucester.
